THE ABOMINABLE

     a 50 mile-ish ride & a 5k-ish trail run @ 0500

This event was dreamed up to test the human element. To expand each of us beyond the boundaries of our comfort zone. To push us into a zone where we will be mystified and amazed at what we are capable of achieving. The organizers fully expect the weather will be miserable, the ride horrendous, and the run hideous. This is what the ABOMINABLE is all about.

A logo featuring a roaring wolf with a circular background and the words 'Abominable G.I. project'.

The question you may be asking is…

"Who else will be getting out of bed at 4am to experience such misery?". Rather ask this, "who else has the shear pleasure of rising early to become fully human, to explore and be amazed at the physical capacities God has given each of us?". When we reach the finish line we can all exclaim what will be plainly obvious, "God is Good"! Then, we will have a hearty breakfast and probably spend the rest of the day recovering...
